The aluminum foil provides excellent thermal reflection (protection against infrared radiation), while also acting as a barrier against moisture, water vapor, and certain chemical agents. The fiberglass fabric, firmly laminated to the aluminum, provides high mechanical strength, particularly against abrasion, tearing, and repeated mechanical stresses (vibrations, friction, twisting). The fire-retardant adhesive enhances fire safety by limiting flame propagation when exposed to a heat source or spark.

Thanks to its flexibility and conformability, the Lenrox 7165 tape easily adapts to irregular, curved, or complex surfaces while maintaining excellent and durable adhesion, even under extreme conditions.

It is suitable for an operating temperature range of -30°C to +130°C, making it perfectly compatible with HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, insulation of hot pipes and ducts, rigid insulation panels, thermal tank coverings, as well as various electrical and mechanical installations exposed to severe conditions.
